Hello guys, gals,

Just wonder why does this forum have not any SSL when you are collecting information from users like registrations/logins? Our data will be visible in plain text and if someone is sniffing the connection, they will see everything....

+1

The forum should definitely have an SSL certificate installed.

Hello guys, gals,
Just wonder why does this forum have not any SSL when you are collecting information from users like registrations/logins?
Going to change ssl in the near future, there are many things to improve on this forum and around it.
I know about SSL but the security of a forum is not come more from SSL, its by its system/settings and configurations on web hosting.

Our data will be visible in plain text and if someone is sniffing the connection, they will see everything....
Can you prove this with a real test and show me the result?
If that is really like you did, I will change to SSL immediately.

It's proven many times, so no need to prove and to know that SSL is a must if you collect users informations and to secure logins/registrations area with SSL.
Another thing is that if i want to connect to this forum from a open wifi/bar wifi or whatever which is not main wifi they will get your infos if you don't use ssl, you can try it by yourself with wireshark.
Also my main reason was not to hurt you, i just don't feel secure without ssl...

Thanks I will consider to move to SSL earlier but I also need to check somethings around it if it affects to this forum as rankings or web system.
This is a good suggestion from you.

Yeh I have just move ForumWeb to HTTPs yesterday. Honestly I have got any notices in Google webmaster tools about some links on this forum, Google wanted to have a SSL certificate on ForumWeb.Hosting

Also I also update our forum to PHP 7.1, Mariadb,...and will add some things to improve the speed of this forum because since moved to https, it is loading a bit more slow now.

Well i doubt ssl have anything to do with slownes of the forum, you need to check configuration/extensions of php 7.1 and mariadb configuration.
