WHM/cPanel supports AutoSSL and Let's Encrypt can be enabled with one command.

It is simple like that? just a command to install and enable Lets encrypt on my cPanel hosting?
I heard some people said we need to renew lets encrypt manually when it is near expire. is that true?

Yes, In recent cPanel version, cpanel has added two free SSL authorities, first is cPanel provide their own SSL authority SSL which is free and also they provide Let's Encrypt, so we have both options which one we should use.

Let's Encrypt certificates must be renewed every 3 months. AutoSSL automatically tries to renew them for you when they are close to expiry. What I have suffered even though they said it was fixed, is not updating properly if the .htaccess messes up the address, since Let's Encrypt places a file on your public URL which must be accessed by them to confirm you own the domain.

If you are a SingleHop-based host, you may have free DV AlphaSSL's. I don't know if there is a plugin for cPanel though, however you can manually generate them.

Both Let's Encrypt and Como offer free and auto SSL certificates for cPanel/WHM servers.

Having an SSL cert on all domains/subdomains is now the standard :).
