I want to try CloudFlare Pro Website 20/month but not sure it's worth getting and these features

What you get with the Pro plan

Limited DDoS Protection Protect your website against DDoS attacks and illegitimate traffic at the edge, before it reaches your server.

Global Content Delivery Network (CDN) Improve latency and performance with location-based access to your website using our 101 data centers located around the globe.

Shared SSL Certificate Secure the transfer of data between you and your website visitors instantly, with a free shared SSL certificate from Cloudflare.

Basic Web Application Firewall (WAF) Defend your website against SQL injection, XSS javascript, real-time POST actions and automated attacks for applications such as WordPress, Magento, Drupal, PHP, Joomla, and more.
Any one tried this plan before? what is your expertise?

Cloudflare Pro offer also image and mobile optimization, but if you don't have high traffic or require DDoS and firewall protect, you should not need the pro plan.

I view comparisons on Cloudflare plans

I dont see the difference in DDOS protection between free and pro package.

I was thinking there is a difference but only Business plan provide this protection. But that's another reason to keep your free plan.
Websites with very high-traffic are using Cloudflare to reduce the size of their hosting infrastructure, because they need full-CDN, multiple SSL and other advanced features.
But our personal websites used probably less than 0.0000001% of the Cloudflare bandwidth. That's why cloudflare offer it for free

I'm going to agree with the above post. If your website isn't that active honestly I would just use the free plan. Some hosts offer free cdn, but you'll need to do your own research to figure out what options are best for you. Cloudflare has been an extremely popular selection among other CDN providers. In 2004, CloudFlare handled the largest DDoS attack in internet history — which highlights the company's experience in preventing large-scale website attacks. Another benefit of CloudFlare or any CDN is, no matter where your visitors are at in the world. The closes datacenter location to that visitor is what server your website will be on so it provides the quickest loading speed. Most visitors won't really tell that much of a difference wither your website is on a us based web server and they are visiting from China, or vice-versa, but if the quickest speed is what you need then a CDN is an option you should consider.

Best of luck to you.

Even for a website with some traffic free plan is good, for some of my websites Cloudflare cache up to 40GB / month with the CDN, but it's still nothing for them as they are running a 10TB network all around the world.
The reasons to choose cloudflare instead of another CDN provider are all the features available with their proxy. Fast DNS hosting, Free Wildcard SSL certificates, HTTP2, assets minifications, and DDoS protection.
For websites with small assets, in most of case, Cloudflare is faster than a paid CDN.

Another thing to keep in mind to if your concern regarding DDoS protection. Hosting providers who support CloudFlare and have it integrated with the packages offer additional DDoS protection. No argument here that CloudFlare is defiantly the most popular choice but don't skin the competition for alternate services. Using the free option would be far be hands down the best option but thats only my opinion.

If you are looking for a reliable CDN than CloudFlare is a good option, however if you are looking for DDoS Protection than rather look at some different solutions.
