How did you do SEO for your web hosting company?

I am not a web hosting provider but I am interested in hearing your expertise on how did you SEO for your web hosting company, from my works I am getting 40% of my web traffic from forums. I have organic traffic and it is helping my sites more. What do you do to improve rankings for your hosting website on search engines?

We did some content creation as well as content optimising - increasing keyword density.
In the hosting market, it's very competitive regarding Google ranking, so content only does so much. But we're seeing good returns on the content in Google rankings.
The rest of it is SEO as usual - we're doing nothing different. Most of the traffic we get is organic, with forums and social media coming in second.

SEO is an ongoing task

We pay a specialist company to market our site with a large number of keywords. SEO takes time and with time it will only get better. Its an investment in your business and will cost a lot to start but if done correctly will pay for its self in no time
