Is OVH the best USA dedicated server hosting provider?

I compared a lot of USA-based dedicated servers hosting provider and I think OVH is the best because it offers great servers for a very lower cost compared to competitors. What do you guys think? Are there any dedicated server companies better than OVH?

Currently I haven't found better. They provide fully unmanaged servers without any support but they have the best prices available and a really good network. So if you have some server management skills, that's perfect.

OVH is very good provider, but there's many out there better than OVH within same price range ... though if Canada / France location is not something compulsory for you

OVH is not a US Service Provider. They are based in Canada and France, However for the price they are good. I have a couple vps severs from them, as well as a Kimsufi Sever from them. (Kimsufi is their low end brand)

No doubt OVH one of the best servers provider because of the pricing they have set . But before you go with OVH for a server or VPS ask below questions yourself if the answer is YES then Cheers ... if NO then choose another provider

1) Do you know how to install operating system
2) Do you know how to manage offline server through KVM
3) Do you know how to configure , optimize , secure and hardened the server
4) Do you know how to configure software firewall
5) Do you know how to install service such apache , mysql etc...
6) Do you know how to fix failed services
7) Do you know how to update operating systems
8) Do you know how to fix operating system level issues ..
many more to come ..................................

OVH servers are completely unmanaged servers their support department is either not so technical or they are not willing to help the customers who are not tech savy. So basically the OVH servers are are for those who are tech save and knows in and out of servers.

Other data centers like Hivelocity , PEER 1 these guys have excellent support and hence their services are quality services but with some more pricing

I hope you guys now understands why the pricing differs for OVH servers.

While OVH is good, I have had great experiences with SoftLayer (which is now a little bit expensive) and TailorMadeServers (if you know where to look they have amazing deals, support and network).

Yes I think OVH is one of the most affordable and quality server provider beating most of the nearest competitors and many web hosting companies resell there servers.

I would definitely recommend TMS - JoseQ for high quality servers and incredible support. Never experienced one issue with their hardware or network for the whole time we required their service. Right at this moment we are not using them but we are looking forward to using them for some of our future planned products.

Do you know any good providers like OVH? Canada is good but I would like to have server location in USA.

yeah OVH is good but sometimes it still can give you downtimes without any reasons and it's difficult to contact OVH support because their support is low.

SoftLayer and TailorMadeServers are same as OVH? if so, I would check these providers.

They are not the same but do provide excellent customer service. Their network and hardware are both top notch.

OVH Best Provider on Dedicated server with High configuration for Low cost ! But the only issue is they will offer support only for Issue Related to any hardware or technical issues from the Server end ! They wont offer any support for the Operating system or software you are going to install.

Recommended OVH !
