Hi All,

At present my business domain is hosted on namecheap.com and email hosting on Office 365 with Business Premium package. Now as my website is ready and I need to buy webspace for my website. I'm very much interested to buy webspace from Microsoft Azure (if they host small websites, I'm not sure about this).

I was wondering to combine everything together so I don't need to login on 3 different websites to maintain my Domain, WebEmail and WebSpace services.

1. Godaddy was the first name came to my mind, but their Office 365 packages are more expensive than I'm paying to Microsoft directly.
2. I'm not sure and I keen to know that is Microsoft Office 365 host the domain name, if yes then is it possible to transfer my domain from NameCheap to Office 365 and how? So at least my 2 services are combined together.
3. For my website's webspace is Office 365 has any solution, or is it possible I buy the space from MS Azure and may be link up with Office 365. At least my all services are from one company, one host.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

You are making everything become more complex when buying 3 services from 3 different websites. If I am you, I will choose a VPS or a dedicated server depending on your website traffic and using one domain registrar as Godaddy or Namecheap and pointing to my hosting server. That's more easier and save your time and money.

Just curious, how much did you pay for your web spaces? and what is your purpose for using Office 365? Is it cloud Office 365?

I haven't bought Web space for my Website yet. But as for now I'm paying USD12.50/User/Month (Email + Office Apps) and I have 5 Licenses so basically I'm paying USD750 per year. Additionally I'm paying to Namecheap for domain USD10/Year. My Office 365 Business Premium 1st year subscription is gonna over soon and I'll downgrade it to USD5/Month/User (Email Only).

Can you please tell me what is VPS? And can you also please tell me which domain registrar is best, Namecheap, Godaddy or any other?

Thanks again.

Hi avinash

I would suggest a shared hosting plan for your site and keep your email with office 365. This is a common setup for many business and individuals.
It's a good idea to separate your email and web apps from your website as it provides protection if something goes wrong with one service. It is not needed to transfer a name, domains can simply be pointed what whatever provider your wish.
