I'm considering launching an affiliate program to boost sales, I would like to know your experiences with your affiliate programs and if you did see more sales after launching your program ?
Also the potential for scams with affiliate programs has my mind racing a million miles a second, have any of you had fraudulent and scam activity with your affiliate program ?

I don't have my own affiliate program but I promoted any affiliate programs from hosting companies on my blog and earn a bit more money, they often offer 10+% commission on each sale and it works as well.

If you start developing an affiliate program for your hosting site, I would suggest you need to have a page for affiliate marketers to track their earnings and allowing to store cookie for at least 30 days.

We have tried to launch an affiliate program in the UK but the bigger networks just don't want to take on web hosts.

Its very frustrating, i don't know if its any different in the US but the UK its a nightmare to try and get an official affiliate program started

Affiliate referrals are doing wonders for certain providers. There's no telling how many blogs are referring the same 10 EIG hosting providers.

I wonder if it is already saturated, and too late for newcomers to make a significant impact using affiliate program.

I have recently launched affiliate program. It's pretty tough to attract marketers initially. But if you can grab some affiliate marketer, it will definitely boost your sales.

I have not yet launched any affiliate programs. I guess it can be tough all over to attract marketers or traffic. Why is it that bloggers are perfect for affiliate programs? Is it because of the traffic which they can attract?

There are many affiliate programs but I think there is quite few that is really legit that you will really earn money.
