I'm desperate to implement this. Kindly advice how i can implement it on my Xenforo forum. I have seen this on another xenforo forum.
How does goolge pick the photos form a post and list the as advertisement. And then when you click on the photo, it opens the forum post. I hope my question is clear. Here is the photo showing the same. See the areas highlighted in red. When you click those photos, it will open the post on xenforo. I really need to implement such.

I don't know exactly how this happens, but I am alos trying to a way to do this. Perhaps someone more intellugent than us will be able to answer this question for us.
I believe that these are Google ads, you perhaps get these ads when you have Adsense on your forums. The advertisers embed images with their forum links and when google posts ads on your forums you see image ads. This is just my assumption.

Sure, let's hope we'll get someone to advice. I have noticed that implementation of that will earn me some clicks on my adsense.
And eventually some good earning on CTC. I really need tricks and tweaks that will make my members click on ads. And if this one is implemented by google themselves, its even better, since it will not be breach of policy i guess.

With Google, they will use a custom code to get the images that advertisers uploaded via Google adwords and displaying on publishers' sites
With a few forums, they can also create a custom code to get the first image in a thread and displaying them on their forums.

And then when you click on the photo, it opens the forum post. I hope my question is clear. Here is the photo showing the same. See the areas highlighted in red. When you click those photos, it will open the post on xenforo. I really need to implement such.
As mentioned above, if you don't know how to create codes to do that then you should find a freelancer for your Xenforo forum.
or you can try to search "User Albums" or "Xenforo addon Albums", I saw there are some addons can allow your to push images to homepage or you can customized them too.

I think you are referring to Google's new feature: Matched Content. According to Google support allows you to choose the pages where you'd like the recommendations to appear, then AdSense promotes the articles on your site that are most relevant to the readers of those pages. It's like Taboola or Outbrain.

In order to use this feature, your website should first be approved by Google. The main advantage of this Google feature is that it brings relevant content to the attention of your users, which can help increase page views and time on the site.

However, you just can't join outright. The Matched content feature is available only to select publishers. To be qualified, you must have a site that meets the minimum requirements for traffic volume and number of unique pages set by Google. The more traffic you get order month, the higher your chances to get qualified.

Here's the link leading to the support article of Google regarding matched content.:)
