Its just different from RAM usage when I am considering to choose 1 VPS 8 GB of RAM or 2 VPS 4 GB of RAM, they have same price ~$80/mo. I want to split my websites into different VPS to reduce server load on my hosting like "don't put all eggs in one basket". Can any one suggest me which one is better and why?

Having your sites on separate VPS will give you another layer of protection if one of the servers crash and reduce the load on each server.
Are both the VPS packages your looking at with the provider ?

What do you currently have? Didn't write all details for VPS plans.
There is not big difference with ram. I'm guessing that you talk about 1VPS 4core 8GB and 2X VPS 3core 4GB then I will go with 2VPS to avoid big usage of CPU (if there is one)
Price is 1 VPS=83$ and 2XVPS=85$

For God's sake please let us know what is the CPU power of both VPS(s)

1VPS with 4core of 3.5Ghz and 8GB RAM will be always better than 3core of 1Ghz and 4GB ram.

Because if your CPU is slow and running on 100% all the time even with 10GB of ram it will have slow performance.

Now if is from the same provider then would be better to go with 1 VPS with double RAM

The idea of reducing server load is not totally correct. Because with a single VPS you will run only once each web server module (apache + mysql + php ), when you will run them 2 times by splitting your hosting into 2 VPS.
That's why using a control panel, you should be able to host your 2 websites on the same VPS (4GB RAM is enough). And RAM usage is not a good way to see if you are using to much resources because all modern web servers and php use as much cache as possible.

Example with a dedicated server with 32GB RAM (cache size -> 21GB ) :

Why is better to have one VPS with double RAM?
Isn't better to 10 sites split on 2 VPS then have 10 sites on VPS. Its true if your server CPU is slow and have one core will have poor performance then some 3.5GHz 12 core/24 treads processor.

I maintain my PC for 20 years and I know how can CPU can have bad performance and how memory have own part in system performance.

Because web hosting doesn't use a lot of CPU resources. So RAM will have more impact on performances.
That doesn't mean you can use a slow CPU, just it doesn't require lot of CPU

You are absolutely right.
He what to split his websites (I guess that he need 2 VPS for some reason), all offers are different but mainly they have some common resource.
With 2 VPS he can get:
-2 IP (free)
-more bandwidth except if he don't have unlimited (example offered traffic 2x1200GB or 1x1800GB)
-more CPU resource (As I said earlier if CPU have big usage)
all other resource are same and he can have some better protections when his websites are separated on 2 VPS.

Just remains questions: why @tlhIngan want to separate websites? Does he use VPS or what hosting plan he use? If he use VPS what are VPS specifications?
And final question what VPS plans he look right now to take?
