I want to manage as many website I want with any web server like Apache, Nginx. Do I need to know the concept of Virtual Host, DNS, hosting panels or something else?
For a dedicated server, It has more good features over shared or VPS and what are the best solutions to have on a dedicated server and managing multi websites best.

If you install a control panel, it will make the server management easier. Because to host several websites on a server, you have to make the configuration yourself, that mean installing :
- Apache or Nginx
- MySQL
- PHP
- Other softwares

And after you will have to create each virtual host etc ...
So if you haven't enough knowledge to do that yourself, you should install Plesk or cPanel/WHM to do it using a web interface and without having to edit each configuration from SSH.
You will have to learn how it work, for the DNS for example, but you will not have to write the configuration yourself.

Seem you are a fan of Webuzo, I have not heard about this hosting panel before until I visit and reading posts on this forum.
I don't think Webuzo can compete with other hosting panels like cPanel, Plesk or Directadmin...etc

You are right. Who will use Plesk or cPanel in single user mode? It's like driving a Ferrari through the narrow streets of the medieval town :) Webuzo is not suitable for serious hosting tasks.

Thanks for your advice, I would learn both methods to manage my hosting but if we only have a choice, which one would you suggest me to go with? and which one has better advantages?

Get the Webuzo Panel and you are done :)
I visited webuzo's website, is it the same functions to cPanel, plesk or other hosting control panels?

Exactly, Webuzo Panel is cPanel alternative (but way cheaper) it is stable & secure and is project of Softaculous.

Another option would be InterWorx , we have used both but our customers prefer Webuzo Panel because it has Free & premium version.

I haven't use Webuzo Panel, I will have to try it to talk about it.
I'm using Plesk to manage my websites on my dedicated server. It allow you to use Apache, Apache+Nginx or Nginx only and you can try it during 14 days for free.
For me cPanel is harder to use, but it's also an excellent control panel.

The Webuzo panel is amazing for hosting a website. But not great for a large quantity of websites. The Webuzo panel forces you to treat each website as an Addon domain, beyond the primary domain. So it is really not appropriate, especially if all of the sites do not belong to the same owner.

I truly admire the Webuzo panel though and use it as often as possible. It is a great alternative to cPanel. I just wish they would make it into a great alternative to WHM.

Webuzo Panel is SINGLE USER VPS CONTROL PANEL and is perfect for single webmaster and currently the best alternative of cPanel and any panel for single user needs.

We had discussion with Webuzo devs and they confirm that they wont make it multiuser panel.

Hold on guys!

Lets read again what exactly OP ask!

He is not asking with which panel to go as hosting provider. He want the best solution to manage multi websites for him self.

In this case, he don't need multiuser panel which will cost him liver and leg.

We are not affiliated with softculous. We are fans of HQ stable and secure software.

If you ask us if Plesk is secure... it is average.
If you ask us if Plesk has userfriendly UI ... well the new one is average

Do we hate Plesk? Not at all, but when we are comparing commercial panels and their limitations well Plesk is the last one in our list.

Again Webuzo is softaculous ltd project for us softaculous is on the same rank with cPanel LLC when comes to quality.

If you have not hear for something again does that make it bad? Of course no! It means that you lack knowledge or your knowledge is out of data.

Who will use cPanel on single user mode? Not sure.. should we ask our VPS customers who have choice cPanel only so they can manage their own websites or single blog?

Because if you are not sharing your resources with others and no one else have access to them... Then you are using cPanel same whey you would use Webuzo -> single user mode.

When you claim that something is bad.. you better to come with real examples why.

Google is your best friend .

You are totally right, a lot of users are using cPanel in single user mode, and that's why it become quickly a disaster when users are using a server with outdated software and without doing the others tasks keep the server up.

I have setup Webuzo on a vps to test it, and if I like the idea, it's more a local installer for softaculous than a real control panel. Each Apache, Nginx or php settings have to be change directly from the .conf file. Not really the easiest way to start using a server.

So the last reason could be the price, but Webuzo cost the same than Plesk with 10 domains, 5$/mo or $50/yr for a dedicated server. So for me, there is no hesitation.
Plesk offer 2 views, the first for hosting providers and the 2nd for single user.
