How can I use my VPS to download torrents?

Hi all, I am having a VPS free for using and I am looking for a way to download torrent files from some shared sites to this VPS, this is just my idea to download files to my VPS and I can download it to my computer later.
After a bit of googling, I heard of techniques of leech files from websites to a VPS but I don't know how to do?
Can anyone shed some light on this question?

You can use this Docker app : https://hub.docker.com/r/jakexks/deluge-torrent-seedbox/
It will give your the ability to manage torrents from a Web UI and to download them later

What is VPN? I've not ever heard of this
If it can solve my question, how to use or turn on it on my VPS?

I am thinking to change my VPS to windows VPS and install windows 7 or 8 on it and using a script to get direct links from shared download sites and using a program to download them on my windows VPS later. It is possible?
