Facebook Jail? I've never heard it called that before Sam. :)

Block from posting or joining groups is a thing though.

When a block from posting or joining any groups happens though it's never permanent and only usually lasts a few days to a week.

It depends on several things. Some of these include;

- How old your account is.
- How many groups you are already joined to.
- How much you are posting/joining.

For new accounts

- Don't post too much too quick.
- Don't join too many groups at once.
- Don't post the same message too much.
- Use different accounts.

As your account matures and you are member of a lot of groups, over time, you will hit less and less group blocks.

I can post up to 500 groups in 1hour and be fine but that is old account who is already member of many groups.

Sometimes Facebook will lock you out and ask you to confirm your identity in some way.

See the thread I posted about that a while back.

They might ask your DOB, phone number confirmation, or to pick photos of your friends.

So make sure you keep details of all of that in case it happens.

If you need to post a lot then it does happen.

They lock you out though not in.

But only lasts for a while.

I got one earlier on a new account I was using LOL

I've had one so many times its comical but it happens less and less overtime the more groups you have and are joined to etc.

It's only when you do too much of one thing you've never done before that it triggers things.

You should build your trust with FB. If you will start doing spamming you will get jail but start with few account and start with few group posting. Create 10 accounts and join 5 groups a day if they are new. Then boost it up. Then you are done.
Thanks

How are you creating 10 accounts and not getting them shut down by Facebook? You are only supposed to have one account according to the Facebook terms/rules.

Do you use other names and ip's?

Technically, you should be allowed to have more accounts from the same IP, but with different names.

My reasoning is that there are a lot of families in the same households (same IP) where each person has a Facebook account.

Even if you use the same name and same photos, I doubt Facebook will notice, unless someone reports you.

Yes, that part I understand. You can have a whole family and other people living under the same roof and using the same IP. Each person could have a different name name and their own account. The rules/terms does say that each person can have only one though.

I had 2 accounts get shut down a couple years ago because I had two accounts with the same name. The thing is that I forgot about the first one because I signed up and only used it a couple of times and then never again. Later down the road I opened the second (thinking it was my first) and in less than a year I got an email stating that I had violated their terms/rules/whatever and they shut both down.

I don't know how they figured it out since I didn't even remember the first one. I would think they would have shut down one or the other though, and not both.

Facebook jail? That sounds practically alien to me as I have never heard of it before. But I believe that what you actually meant to say was either getting banned from the group or being blocked.

What I would recommend that you do is ensure that you read the pinned post of any Facebook group you are a member in and always try to work within the confines of those rules and regulations.
