UltraWide 21:9 vs 16:9, Which is better?

Hi,
I'm considering between 29 inch UltraWide 21:9 and 27 inch monitor 16:9, purpose for gaming, entertaining, video and work..
In your point of view, Which one is better? 21:9 or 16:9?

From my personal opinion, you should use 16:9 for any types of monitor. It's popular and using widely for gaming, film. If you like UltraWide, try multi monitors on 1 PC, you can split works on different monitors.

I would go with 21:9 only for movies. If your budget allows that combo, because 16:9 is and will continue to be the standard for a while.
