Hi everyone,
Can I have your shares on your SEO tasks you are doing everyday to help your site improve on SERPs?
I'm applying some ways as following:
- Monitor my site, tracking results
- Building backlinks from forums and promote
- Submitting on social networks my blog links
- Learning new techniques from tips on other blogs and communities
- Check forums for responses to any posts I started or am watching
- Building my audience on my social networks

Am I right and what are your daily SEO routines?

Hiya Brettek,

For me my main focus is to develop a content marketing plan... Of which this is based on keyword research i.e. traffic vs. competition - which is then used to compile a list of to do articles.. I aim for around 50 and try to implement that a couple of times a week... with use of contracted writers... In parallel I also develop a tier 1 resources which is used for backlinking/traffic purposes. Check out this thread - as I provide a list which you can download...

The tier 1 list is used as a basis to form a long term plan - which includes video, social media marketing etc.... My approach is to place content on my primary site which is then followed by some backlinks and social signals in order to encourage ranking improvements... I also use ads - primarily for list capturing and especially when starting a new project....

In addition I also pursue guest articles on high authority sites.... as well as buying old domains as part of a PBN which is used for backlinking... all of these activities are planned/scheduled months in advance...

My best advice overall is to keep a careful eye on your footprints wrt G's algo so that you keep under the radar from algorithmic penalties... as well as making sure that only the best quality content goes on your primary website....

Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Sid

Buying a old domain is not a better strategy. See MATT Cutts video he says old domain links are not of much value.

Well Matt Cutts is a total w******** #$%&!??? lol... His agenda is obvious as he wants to put a stop to people manipulating the serps... If you dont think its a good strategy then dont do it! The fact is you can buy an old website and if you know what you are doing you can get a great backlink.... Done correctly how can G tell the difference between an genuine and manipulated link? Its working well for me and many others... The key is to keep your PBN Private!!! i.e. on different domain registrars, hosting, whois privacy, limit your links/footprints, mix with other outbound links etc...

I dont know what video you are talking about - but suspect that it has to do with expired domains which go past the redemption period... Then yes that would be the case as the history of the domain is discounted... There is a simple solution to that.... Dont buy domains which has gone beyond the redemption period!!! You can also check with using the wayback machine too for a detailed historical snapshot... The best domains to buy would be privately with content included before they even approach expiry/auction...

I'm some what baffled and amused by your question ;-)

First of all lets clarify one thing... If you are creating instagram, pinit, youtube vids, web 2.0's , guest articles etc etc.. With the aim of creating backlinks to boost your rankings then its all manipulation and if you take the time and effort to analyze websites rankings on the serps for competitive keywords then you will see from backlinking profile etc that the vast majority are manipulated...

With backlinks its all about getting them from authority sites... Sites which G trusts... based on metrics such as DA, TF/CF etc.. So to get them you can of course do guest articles (paid or free), buy backlinks as well as many other methods incl. social shares etc... and surprise surprise one other way is to buy domains/websites which have good authority metrics... What is it that you dont understand??? Have a look at godaddy auctions, flippa etc... There are literally hundreds of thousands of people buying/selling domains - many for the purpose of off-page SEO through PBNs.... There is tons of stuff online on this subject.... A link is a link and its about the quality of that link which matters.... i.e. from an authoritative site, that is what counts....

My routine is like this:

1. Check Google Webmaster Tool for reports, issues and errors.
2. Analysis and Keyword Research.
3. Creating Linkworthy Content.

My daily SEO strategy starts with:
• Coffee (first things first, usually around 8 AM)
• Checking backlinks and authority (Landing page, inner pages backlinks)
• Reading my favorite websites, IT news etc.
• Tweet something to attract some attention
• Writing blog article
• Collecting blog articles, sharing on social networks, article aggregation etc.
• Analyzing competition
• Checking forums and writing or learning something from other members
• The end of the day

I had my website company before. Before parting ways with them, they taught me how to maintain my SEO by linking my websites to similar businesses with similar niche. And Promoting locally.

Before you start your SEO work, you should check the website for any types of errors (broken links, image not showing etc). Then check the ranks (manually or with software). You can also check Webmaster tools. Apart from this, the daily work also includes article posting, SBM, microblogging, image sharing, forum posting, PPT/PDF creation and sharing. Finally, I focus on SMO on which I tend to put more emphasis.

there is always a balance between ranking with internet promotions and buying reputation, like buying high pr links. I believe, reputation, SEPR, is all about earning it and not buying to earn

if you just think, link is a link, you got it because you paid, it is a manipulation. It may hurt you.

First I do check the Google Webmaster Tools and Analytics for any improvements/issues. If both tools stats are okay, I start to check my website. After that I start to build links for my websites.
