How Do I Disable AutoSSL Email Notifications in cPanel?

I've been receiving frequent AutoSSL email notifications from cPanel about SSL certificate events like expiration, renewal, and installation. While these are helpful, they are starting to overwhelm me.

Does anyone know how to disable these notifications for a single cPanel account, server-wide, or even for administrators?

I’ve heard there are options in WHM and even API commands to manage this, but I’m not sure of the exact steps. Could someone share a detailed guide or best practices for handling this?

For a single cPanel account:

Go into WHM > Tweak Settings > Notifications and disable the "SSL Certificate Expiry Notification" for specific users.
Alternatively, in the cPanel account itself, go to SSL/TLS Status and disable the AutoSSL notifications from there.

For a single cPanel account:

Log into cPanel
Go to Contact Information
Uncheck “SSL certificate notifications”
Save

Server-wide (WHM):

Log into WHM as root
Go to:
Home » Server Configuration » Tweak Settings » Notifications
Find “AutoSSL notifications”
- You can set to “None” or limit to “Errors only”
Save changes

Disable via API (Advanced):
Use this API call to disable for a specific user:

Log in to your cPanel account.
Locate the "Contact Information" interface. You can usually find it under the "Preferences" section.
Uncheck the boxes next to the AutoSSL notification options. These typically include options for SSL certificate expiry and other AutoSSL-related events.

The spot that usually gets missed is WHM, Manage AutoSSL, Options tab. It carries its own notification checkboxes separate from Tweak Settings, covering things like warning the user when AutoSSL fails to renew and when a certificate has been replaced. Switch everything off in Tweak Settings only and mail still keeps arriving from there.

Worth deciding what you actually want before silencing all of it. Turning off every AutoSSL notification also turns off the failure ones, and a certificate that quietly stops renewing costs a lot more than a noisy inbox. Are you after total silence, or just dropping the routine renewal success messages and keeping the errors?
