To configure backup to Google Drive, perform following steps

1) Log in to WHM as a root user.

2) Go to Home >> Backup >> Backup Configuration, then scroll down to the ‘Additional Destinations’ section.

3) In the ‘Destination Type’ dropdown menu, select Google Drive™.

4) Then click ‘Create new destination’.

5) Enter your desired destination name.

6) Enter the desired folder where you wish to store backups.

7) Enter your client ID and client secret.

8) Click ‘Generate Credentials’ to generate the credentials file. A new tab will appear for you to authorize access to your Google Drive data.

9) Enter your desired Timeout duration.

10) Click the button ‘Save Destination’.

Hope it helps!

Yes, it is possible to backup your website data to cloud storage services like Google Drive or OneDrive using cPanel or other hosting control panels. Here are the steps you can follow:
  • Log in to your cPanel account.
  • Locate the "Backups" or "Backup Wizard" option and click on it.
  • Select the "Generate/Download a Full Backup" option.
  • Choose the backup destination as "Remote FTP Server" and enter the credentials for your Google Drive or OneDrive account. Alternatively, you can select "Secure Copy (SCP)" and enter the credentials for your cloud storage service if it supports SCP.
  • Fill in the required details, including the backup file name, email address, and backup directory, and click on the "Generate Backup" button.
Once the backup is complete, it will be uploaded to your cloud storage service. You can access the backup file from your Google Drive or OneDrive account and download it to your PC. It's worth noting that the upload speed of the backup file will depend on the speed of your internet connection and the size of the backup file. Therefore, it may take some time to upload the backup file to your cloud storage service. Additionally, you may need to configure the settings of your cloud storage service to allow cPanel or your hosting control panel to access it. You can find instructions on how to do this in the documentation provided by your cloud storage service.
