Hello, this is first time to use this forum. Glad to be here.

Our company is operating one WooCommerce website, and because of slow speed we changed hosting company several times ( at least 7 times within 2 years )

The last change was at December 2021, so now we are using custom plan of Kinsta ( 300 USD/month - 16 PHP Workers )

Usually the speed is ok, but when we start to upload products or when third-party plugin start to import information from our website, loading speed decrease.

Of course this doesn't mean some seconds. Sometimes we need to wait 1~5 minutes to open one product page in backend, or sometimes website just stop working.

Because of this we contacted some wordpress developing company to find error, but they told us there is no problem.

They just simply said our website is too heavy for web hosting.

Well, I thought maybe that would be quiet reasonable.

Monthly visitor is not that much ( about 7~80000 visitors per month ), but other part of website is heavy.

We have about 38 plugins ( include WPML ), 4000 products per language ( total 21000 products ) and about 25000 order records in data base.

So,, I want to ask about this.

Do you think so too that our website is heavy for web hosting? And if it is, would VPS help us to solve this problem?

Hello, I am developer ( not php but .net one), I can see kinsta 300$ plan is excellent, it can handle 200k users easily.

But looking at your details, your website is slow because of 38 plugins.

Also, review if your database server is good.

Website is not too heavy, but you can get much cheaper VPS hosting with 4 GB ram and 2 cores, and it might not help, reason is that your 38 plugins is increasing website load time or database configuration.

Hi,
I manage 2 woo commerce and we use Dedicated server from Germany (H is the company that we use) one of our website have 51k product (Windows Shop) and other is 22k product piercing (price of dedicated 32euro).

I have some suggestion for you ,
1) use Redis ,
2) second check your My.cnf config
3) Create a local copy of your website and try to disable one by one (Plugin ).
4) Use Latest Version of php 7.4 and 8.0

third-party plugin start to import information from our website
Check if this 3rd party Plugin always fetch your data every minute (use cron monitor to see it ) ,

Check if you have this plugin , try to find alternative . Reference about this data (Onlinemediamaster) i cannot share the url because i'm only newbie here too.

Hey there!
According to my years of experience as a technical support engineer, I recommend you opt for Dedicated Hosting/ VPS for your requirements. Selecting VPS/Dedicated hosting will not help you with load speed they will also be much more secure and reliable than shared hosting. Once you've amassed a huge audience and high traffic you can scale up accordingly. And before selecting a hosting provider kindly go through the following checklist:
1. Uptime
2. Available storage
3. Monthly traffic
4. Loading speed
5. Data security
6. Customer support
7. Payment methods
8. Content management system
9. Do a free trial
10. Discover extra benefits
Once you've gone through the following checklist you'll have enough information to select the best hosting service that suits your requirements.
Thank you...

It’s best to consider each server (I.e. web server, database server, mail server, etc) as a microservice and host each independently on VMs to optimize process handling in busy Ecommerce stores

You should consider migrating your woocommerce site on a VPS or a Dedicated Server and look for a Hosting company that offers fully managed services to handle all server-related issues. If you have a VPS or a Dedicated server you will have full control over it and having dedicated resources will help your site perform better.
