I'm a bit new so correct me if I'm ever wrong but I am looking for a server with similar to the following specs. 16 cores, 16 GB ram, 10gbps, and around 250GB SSD. It needs to be dedicated/bare metal and have Standard Windows 2016 client and located in Virginia or New York. I know this is a lot to ask but if someone can point me in the right direction that would be appreciated.

I found trusted company called eWebGuru.. They are working since 2007. You can get 1 TB SATA Disk. 10 TB bandwidth, 16GB DDR3 RAM, 100 MBPS Uplink, Free Migration. in just 123$ per month
They have moreplans too. I am also their user and I found this is cheapest yet best option.

Dedicated Servers hosting is when you get to use a single server completely and you don't have to share the server with anybody else. It makes you the directing person and you can select to adapt your server as per your necessity and allowing to the needs of your domain. Though Dedicated Servers are on the costly side, you get numerous features and choices that are worth paying for. Mostly, if your website is visited by several individuals within a very short period of time, Dedicate Server is the accurate choice for you.

In advance picking a dedicated server hosting, you need to think through the website's memory necessities, and how this will disturb their loading speeds. RAM is the information storage volume that is manageable and that will permit the website's visitors to access any information from the server. Hence, the extra RAM a website has, the more rapidly it will load.

When seeing a well-organized and powerful server to host your website, deliberate the advantages of a dedicated server to produce your ecommerce business.

I may be able to find you something like this, however, 16GB of RAM is quite hard to find nowadays.

servers.com has everything you've asked for. They provide both dedicated and bare metal servers. Their data centers are in Delaware, which is very close to Virginia.

For those specs, you may struggle to find something cheap if it must be true dedicated or bare metal.

16 cores, 16GB RAM, 10Gbps networking, SSD storage and Windows licensing can push the price up quite quickly, especially if you need a specific US location like Virginia or New York.

A few things I would check carefully:

  • Is it true bare metal or a virtual dedicated server?
  • Are the CPU cores dedicated or shared?
  • Is the 10Gbps port dedicated, shared or burstable?
  • Is Windows licensing included in the price?
  • Is the SSD local storage or network storage?
  • What bandwidth limit applies?
  • Are there setup fees?
  • Is DDoS protection included?
  • Can you upgrade later?
If you absolutely need Virginia or New York, then you should probably focus on US-based dedicated server providers.

If the location can be flexible and UK hosting is acceptable, a VDS can be worth comparing as an alternative to a cheap dedicated server. It is not the same as bare metal, but it can give dedicated-resource style performance with easier deployment and upgrade options.

For example, this is a UK VDS option to compare:

The main thing is to be careful with the word “dedicated”. Some providers advertise dedicated-style resources, but it may still be virtualised. That is not always bad, but you should know exactly what you are buying.

For your specific request, I would say:

  • choose bare metal if you specifically need a physical server
  • choose VDS if dedicated resources in a virtual environment are acceptable
  • choose a US provider if Virginia/New York is a strict requirement
  • check Windows licensing before ordering anything
