I think I would echo with most people here. With Reseller hosting, one can host several different third party sites.
Many make an earning and also a business out of it, especially web devs and designers when they get a requirement to make a website.
Resellers essentially act as a face for brands who provide hosting and have their own infrastructure, including data centers, security, servers, etc. Hence, they can sell the hosting of a particular brand with some markup.
In my early years as a web dev, I chose ResellerClub as a brand and resold their web hosting like cloud, VPS, and dedicated servers because they were economical, had good support, and were sound technically. Their infra was top notch and uptime was just great, so there was a fantastic performance. I have had a better experience with them than any other provider.
So, all in all, yeah, if you are looking at reseller hosting as a service, it is a totally different ball game.
