Hi everyone, I am installing Directadmin on a new server, I am choosing between Centos 6 or Centos 7. Not sure which one is better for Directadmin. My default OS is Debian but I heard that Centos is better for Directadmin than Debian so I would like to change OS for my server. Any advice?

Go with Centos 7, it's more stable for hosting purposes.

Yup, you can choose CentOS 7 with direct admin, for hosting services. It would offer an easiness in an administration perspective.

As others have suggested - CentOS 7.
CentOS 6 EOL is November 30th, 2020.

I'm using 7 now, and it works well. If you are used to previous versions you may want to stick with 6. 7 has a lot of command changes

Better still go with CentOS 8, DirectAdmin supports it and there are good improvements over CentOS 7 too. As metioned already CentOS 6 reaches EOL toward the end of this year, so don't go with that.
