Buying second hand license?

I am going to start a new forum and use paid forum software but I checked price of forum software if buying from official providers, it is a bit expensive, i want to buy a second hand license then its price is lower, is that a good idea? any suggestions?

In some cases, companies does not allow you to re-sell their licenses so if you buy it second hand it is at your own risk.

Be sure in all case to buy the whole account not just the license key. Also, be sure that you can change the domain name tied to the license key because in some cases you cannot change it and the company will tell you to buy a new license.

It is not really a bad idea at all. But you need to make sure that you are buying a genuine license that the vendor allow to transfer and it has valid support and update subscription.

Like the others have said and it is good to echo the risks, but make sure you're not throwing your money away by buying from a shady person, try and make sure its all legit or risk losing more money.

I like this idea but to be honest, I didn't try because I afraid some guys can use tricks when they sell licenses which I can not get good quality licenses hence I usually buy license from official providers.

Is there a way to make sure that I will receive license without risks?

It is imperative that the buyer of used software fully understand the licensing and legal issues involved in transferring "ownership" of the software. if not done properly, purchasing used software may lead to an expensive lesson in licensing agreements.

I only worked for 1 month, I renewed the license but it likes just renewed about 12 days and expired. they slowly support and I think I don't like to use their services any more.
