As we already owned these servers (i.e. servers that ready for someone to buy from us through the hosting company), they did not cost me anything. But on average these servers would cost someone around $150 a month. So doing the math $150 x 3 = $450 - $5 earned, I would have lost $445 a month.

According to me, using a dedicated server for Bitcoin mining is generally not a cost-effective approach. Dedicated servers are designed for specific tasks like hosting websites, applications, or handling other types of data processing. While they do have computational power, they are not optimized for the intense calculations required for Bitcoin mining. ASIC miners are specifically built for this purpose and are much more efficient and powerful.

Furthermore, the Bitcoin mining landscape has evolved over the years, and mining has become increasingly competitive. Large-scale mining operations are now dominant, and individual miners often join mining pools to increase their chances of earning rewards. The costs associated with dedicated servers, including electricity, maintenance, and cooling, may outweigh the potential profits from mining, especially if you're using general-purpose hardware.

Hope this information helped you.
