I can say money is not important but it is a necessity. You need money to live. You need them to buy your shelter, food, and everything that you need in order to survive.

Money is indeed important. Many people say that there so many other things more important than money like love, health, family and etc., but I think we cant take care of those if we don't have money. Come to think of it how can you show how much you love your family if you can't provide for their needs like food and shelter or education for your children, how can you take care of their health if you don't have money to pay for the hospital whenever they are sick? Well, money is a major factor in our day to day living but not the only factor to consider but still very important.

Money is important because this is our source of our needs and wants. Without money how can we buy food and things we use in our daily life? The reason why we work because we badly need money to live and survive life. It is up to you how you will use the money, if you'll use money for good purposes or choose to use money for your bad habits.

In my opinion, money is one of the basic necessities that we need in life. Some may say that health is more important than money, but for me it is not. Having healthy body needs to have fruits, vegetables and other things that you can only get when you have money to buy those. Yes there are fruits and vegetables that you can find and get somewhere near you, but it is not the case for everyone. Aside from foods, there are clothes, water, electricity and other necessities that uses money. These examples are just few but I hope this can help you understand that money is important indeed.

In my country, money is only important when you are in urban centres because everything from water to food is money. When in the rural areas then money is less important, you can actually run on good diet without any money. Food is free in the farm, water is free in the river, you live in your own home; life just runs smoothly without money.

Of course, money is important because we need it for survival. But it is not the most important thing in the world for, you can always find money anywhere if you will just work hard.
Money is important but never treat it as your master, but treat it just like a third party. What I mean is like-- health is more important and we just need money to improve it. Love is more important, but we need money to sustain the daily needs of our loved ones.

Do you get my point? Money is not what we really need, but it supports our needs; Its purpose is just for spending.

Hi! Yes, money is very important. But I think we must all remember that money is not the only important aspect in our lives or in living for that matter. We may have different priorities but I'm pretty sure money would be included for everyone. For me, I always put God first, then my family and last but not the least is the career or what we may say "money".

Money is important. But I always put in mind not to work for money. Just to share a quotable quote my friend sent me, "We must only work to live and live to love.". I may have regrets turning down big offers financially, but I don't regret choosing to spend more extra time with my family.

Money is not the most important thing in the world. What's really important is what money can do for you. If you have money, poverty will never approach you. You can have many choices in everything. You can buy whatever you want when you have enough money. You can buy a good house, wear good clothes and spend on the things you get pleasure from.

Money is not more important than health. Many people say that health is wealth. The role of money in our health is, it can buy you medicines when you're sick. You can pay your hospital or check up bills when you have money. You can buy healthy foods to eat. But be reminded that you can not have money if you do not have a good health. Just like how can you work and earn it if you are not healthy enough? You can not find a better job when you are not healthy. There are many other points that explains why health is more important than money.

Both is important for us to have a healthy living. We just have to use it wisely. We should not take it for granted.

I always have to make myself remember one very important thing, It's always possible to make more money when you need it, you get a job and do your work and you get money it might not be a lot or it might a lot who knows, but like the things we want/need to buy with money, money it self has a price; Our time, something you can't get more of. Once you spend time its gone for ever and you can never get it back, it doesn't matter how much you need it, want it, what ever.

Its always important to value your time as the most expensive thing in this world. Happiness is most important, family, the things that leave a lasting impression on the world after we are gone. As important as money is for some people to be happy, it only helps me it is not the thing that makes me happy.

I agree, it's impossible to say money doesn't matter in this modern world, we actually need to pay for a lot of necessary things like food, health, education, etc., but as a lot of people had said on this forum there are some things for free (love, friendship, etc.).

Some of you guys had said you prefer health over money and I agree, but you're wrong comparing them, cause you don't need to spend your health to get money, just only time as Alex said:

So for me if you work you're spending your time and if you spend more time than needed you start to spend your health more than your time. I mean you can get money without setting aside your health or your time, if you work a lot for for just some cents, you aren't making money a profit (money) because you are using a lot of efforts for nothing, and that isn't getting money, it's just spending time. In conclusion, money is important, but not the most important thing, so don't spend your time and health in vain, and if you work a lot for money think twice if you're doing it right.

Yes money is important because its a tool to make things run in life because of its value. But money has limitations, its only good for physical materials. Money can affect human emotions and situations but you cannot control them by money alone.
