Is a VPS with core i7 still hot right now? or are there any VPS plans with better core versions? I would like to hear your experience when choosing a VPS with CPU core. Many thanks!
If i7 CPU are a good solution to get lower prices on dedicated server, especially for personal usage, hosting VPS on servers with i7 CPU isn't the best idea.
At first, because there are a lot of features only available on XEON CPU, especially for virtualization, so performances will not be the same between i7 & XEON.
But also, because the most part of i7 CPU only provide 4 cores & 8 threads. That's not enough to provide VPS Hosting with good performances.
