I was about to choose between this two to help my friend for his linux distro. We are discussing about this two Linux servers and we want to know some background within this two. Can you share some of your experiences with this two just to help us to decide which we will gonna pick.

For desktop, Arch Linux would be the best option.
For servers, you should prefer CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu etc.
