Well, we're a large provider but I can tell you what's important for us with all of our vendors. Prompt communication. Nothing worse than not being able to get ahold of someone.

To add to this, honesty from the host is essential. Once you feel like you are getting what was advertised and know they have your back if you get into trouble, then will stay.

As well as that some people are forced to leave as they can't expand where they are, even if they are happy with their host. This is where having the ability to offer larger packages and services can facilitate clients to stay and upgrade.

I think if a hosting company has helpful support which clients may rely on, and if the host offers services at reasonable price and with good specifications then clients would be always happy with them. Of course, the lack of hidden costs is also a very important factor. At least, these are the main things from my point of view.
