Prestashop or Magento?

Hi evevryone. I'm in a little war with myself...I own an online store and using Wordpress, it's doing well but I want to try a new one as Prestashop to Magento. So just a simple question for people who has experience with these online store platforms... Prestashop or Magento? Which one is better? why?

Hello djsimey2k,

Prestashop is easier to install and doesn't require a lot of resources. It's a good solution if you don't want to use woocommerce because you have too much items.
But there are always a lot of issues to update/upgrade Prestashop and it's pretty hard to work on the SEO part without a paid plugin.

Magento is probably the best e-commerce platform available, but it's not a good idea to go with Magento if you have less than 100 items in your store. Magento is the perfect solution for huge store, or multi-stores setup. To run properly Magento 2, you will need at least a good VPS with enough RAM and CPU.
