You can't beat godaddy $0.99 domain registration for new accounts, the problem is with renewals where there are better options like NameSilo or Namecheap, I also like Dynadot too.

Aside Godaddy who else is a better domain provider. In terms of cheap domain name and reliability.
Agreed with you, I have a few domain names at Godaddy but also having some in Name and Namecheap. All of them are good domain registrar.

resellerclub also some time have very good offers
Never bought a domain at resellerclub or not yet heard about this brand name, like its name, maybe they are just a domain reseller.

We use OVH. For .PT domains (we are in Portugal) they have unbeatable prices, however namecheap or godly are also good options. The problems many times is the renewal prices.

If you want to buy a domain name cheap is cheap(ish), but if you want a cheap reseller NetEarthOne is affordable and uses the LogicBoxes control panel.

I prefer namecheap, if you ask me namecheap has a better interface then godaddy. And its 100x simpler to use, for what ever reason godaddy decided to make their website over complicated and not very user friendly.

Humm...Godaddy is really cheap if you ask me. But yes you can find something out there that may fit what you are looking for. NetEarthOne as the other guy mentioned is probably something that you would enjoy. I hope you do find what you are looking for and I wish you well on your journey.

No one can beat godaddy as a domain provider in terms of prize and reliability. They are just one of best of the best domain provider in the world wide web. I never heard about namesilo or namecheap so far but i wanna try it out if it will be best alternative aside from godaddy provider.

Yes, I agree that godaddy is the cheapest so far that I have heard. It has a good quality of services. As I have observed, almost people subscribed and patronized godaddy. The price is affordable even to the other countries where the rate of a dollar is high. Somehow, godaddy helps people to earn because of the low price they charge.

Most of my domains are registered on Namecheap. namecheap frequently launches offers and you can get domains for less than a dollar, Currently Namecheap is offering a dot com for $8.88, some domains are even available for 48 cents. However, while registering a domain name you should check the regular price because that is the amount you will have to pay when you are renewing your domain. I bought dot online for 88 cents, however, I renewed for $32. For this price, I could have a dot come for 3 years.

Namecheap offer reasonably priced domains. It is easy to use especially on their domain management pages. They have tons of easy to follow tutorial videos if ever you encounter issues getting your domain setup.

GoDaddy for sure! Really cheap for new registrations. I can also vouche for Emotions, Namecheap and many more. You can canvas which ever domain provider near you so you can decide what is fitted in your budget.

Go for godaddy if you are new and try the other ones when you have tested it. I have choose godaddy during my thesis, not mentioning they have a great support team. :)

With all the respect to all the members, I mean it, this forum is going down in terms of the quality of the discussions :( what would be the purpose to ask such insignificant equations like "Aside Godaddy who else is a better domain provider. In terms of cheap domain name and reliability"?

Why would one say that GoDaddy are among the "best" domain registrars in the first place. They might be, but what are the arguments for that? Then how is it possible to discuss a provider which is good or even better than others and at the same time to demand that it should be "cheap". Finally, applying requirements such as "cheap" and "reliable" for one and the same thing shows lack of understanding how this industry work?

PS: It looks to me that many threads are created with the purpose of having someone's signature in the forum.

I used Godaddy, Namecheap, Name.com, Namesilo, and some other domain registrars (that I could not remember all)...I can let you know that I vote for Namecheap because its price and support. Beside, Godaddy is my second choice when buying a domain name.

Nowdays Namesilo became pretty decent and well priced. Much improvement from their side during the past year.
