This kind of site will make lots of database queries, and page loading times will get significantly slower as your site and its users grow. I highly recommend you start off with a KVM VPS for proper isolation for a trial run before you go full throttle with your project. You will definitely have to migrate to a dedicated server once you start getting more traffic or it will take forever to load anything on your site.

Cloud hosting is the popular best hosting strategy to market businesses right now. The only traditional type that could get close to cloud hosting is the one with shared hosting. However, cloud hosting is still radical and can carry a plenty of banklinks that would give you more traffic and profit.

It depends on your requirement and budget.

If you are a startup with less traffic and budget , you can start with shared hosting. Shared hosting means, your hosting account will be hosted on a shared server and that server might have 100's of accounts. Main issue with shared hosting is , if any of the account is causing the issue. That might effect your website also. For e.g.: If anyone caused spamming, it will effect your mail server IP reputation.

If you have better budget, I would suggest you to try VPS or dedicated server. That will give you more per performance compared to shared hosting.

If you want best performance and autoscaling option, I would suggest you to try cloud hosting where you can scale up or down your resource depending on your traffic. If you have high traffic for your website, you can configure it and extra resource will be added automatically and resource will be scaled down when the traffic is down or during off peak hours. Main advantage is that you just need to pay for what you use.
