Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where can I buy web hosting for a cheaper price? I got a friend who wanted to create a website and he wanted to buy the cheapest web host online. Any recommendations? I would like to know more options because I already got 2 website where I can buy domain but he insist to find options aside from those ones I got. Would highly appreciate your recommendations / responses.

Hi there :)

What is your budget for hosting? You can always look at cheap yearly plans which are great for new, small and low traffic websites, those are usually around or under $1 per month. Look for scalable solutions, that way you can upgrade once your project grows. You can keep your domain separate from the hosting provider, register it with a cheap domain registrar and point the nameservers to the hosting provider.

I believe that you can not find any hosting plans that cheaper than plans on this page https://forumweb.hosting/top-quality-best-web-hosting.html
The are offering $0.99 or $1.95 / month only.

Hello kabayan!

I too have been searching far and wide for a cheap web host provider because I'm planning on migrating my sites. I currently cannot handle the monthly fees being charged to me by my current Web host.

After my research, I saw that hostgator is providing a discount to first time customers. They provide Cloud hosting at 2.99 per month applicable for 1 website. The package includes free site backup plus sitelock monitoring.

I'm also contemplating on scheduling the services of iPage. They offer you a monthly cost of $1.99 per month (unlimited websites) of you avail of the 36 month package. Site backup and sitelock is charged separately though.

Hmm, what to choose...

Hi, Jovean! Could you please tell us what do you mean by ‘'cheap'' hosting, what exactly is your budget? And also, does your friend have some specific requirements where the servers are located?

Cheapest isn't necessarily the best. There are many "overnight hosts" that sell at unprofitable prices and vanish overnight with all your prepaid money. It is prudent to search for an affordable host within your budget that is reputable and has a reliable track record.

The best thing to do is look around on web hosting forums and contact hosting providers direct to find out if they can work with your budget and needs.

I am also curious about the business culture in general and how it may or may not view which web host you choose to use. Is there a culture of judgment out there that "looks down" on you if you use a cheaper, or even free, web host? In other words, if you invest more, or as much as you can, is that more appealing to the market and the frequenters of your pages? Obviously, you always get what you pay for, but a lot of us just getting started are on quite a limited budget. I would prefer to only use tried and true, reliable web hosts, but I am building up to that.

Why look for cheap?? or even free? if its for a business you should never try and save on quality. You get what you pay for. If you pay more you get better if you buy cheap you buy twice.

Just try and increase you budget slightly and you will not go wrong. Can you really expect a quality service and uptime for a solution of these costs?

Good luck

I would suggest, instead of searching for the cheap hosting, search for the quality hosting. You will find number of hosting providers with low budget but they will not provide the quality service. Go through the reviews of the web hosting of their current clients and then do the selection. You will need shared hosting service so search the review for it.

Hope this will help you. :)

If you look for cheap, don't expect to receive the best. You always get what you paid.
For ~4€ (which is almost free) you can get a good quality host.

While I will suggest that you check on this forum for Web hosting, I will advise that you stay off cheap hosting as you won't enjoy them in the long run

Cheap and web hosting usually don't mix well, its kind of like fire and ice. Having said that you can get a deal on hosting for $1 a month on www.1and1.com and you can get a year hosting for $10 for a year from www.namecheap.com. But keep in mind that these are introductory prices, they will go to full price after 1 year!

I have been searching for three days and I couldn't find anything better then Namecheap offer, their starting plan, which they call Value is $9.88/yr with the possibility of hosting three websites, and for the domain name, you are looking at something around $8 to $10 for a .com, so, there you have it, a $20 cheap web hosting, and they accept Paypal.

I think the first thing you should ask yourself is how much is your budget? second is know the hosting company and their features. Third always check the satisfaction rating, concerns, etc.

Allibaba Cloud Compute Service ranging price from $ 0.99 USD per month hosted by Asia's best e-commerce, Alibaba. Or you can try ipage.com starting at $ 1.99 USD. So far, they are the cheapest sites but with quality service out there.
