WHM backup location?

I have WHM and cPanel installed on a server, I want to create backup and save it somewhere on my VPS, of course it should be the place I wanted. As a beginner with WHM, I'm not sure where to have WHM put this backup file. Is there a way to see its path and download to my local pc? I should create a new directory called as backups and tell it where it should store files to?

The default /backup should already exist and you can find your backups here. Once you have the backup file just move it to the /home/account and download it via file manager.

In WHM , you can change this location as well in the backup configuration tab.

Than there your backups will be stored, you can then use scp or winscp to transfer backups to your computer.
