What is better dedicated plan between OVH and Vultr?

Vultr
2 X 120 GB SSD

$120
4 CPU
16384MB Memory
20TB Bandwidth

OVH
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1270v6 - 4c/8t - 3.8 GHz/4.2 GHz
RAM: 32GB DDR4 ECC 2400 MHz
Disks:
Traffic: 500 Mbps guaranteed bandwidth
vRack:
$99.99
/month

OVH seems cheaper but I am not sure it is better than Vultr

Thanks in advance.

I don't have experience with them but both are unmanaged. I saw mixed review about both.

OVH dedicated server is really better with the latest XEON E3, DDR4 and the ability to choose NVMe disks (10x faster than SSD)

I would go with ovh dedicated server if you have knowledge about server manager and can manage your hosting by yourself.
I was expecting to have a dedicated server from OVH under $40 but that didn't happen.

You can look to Soyoustart and Kimsufi for cheap dedicated server with OVH.
Kimsufi have not many dedicated servers in SSD storage with many CPU cores and RAM.
Soyoustart seems better, I checked their offers
Like this offer
Intel Xeon E3 1225v2 4 c/ 4 t £29.75 ex. VAT (or £35.70 incl. VAT)
What is ex. VAT and incl. VAT? can I pay with ex. VAT?

Ex.VAT is the price without VAT (price for the server without vat is £29.75), incl.VAT is the price with VAT included (price for the server with vat is £35.70). If you are located in EU you will need to pay the VAT, if you are located US/Canada non EU, then you don't have to pay the VAT.

This is great info!

I must check this dedicated server

Intel Xeon E3 1225v2 4 c/ 4 t £29.75 ex. VAT (or £35.70 incl. VAT)
This better than a VPS from OVH or Vultr? is it faster? and including ddos protections like OVH?

Of course a dedicated server is always better instead of vps one, as you know soyoustart is an OVH brand and it include the same ddos protection just like ovh.com. So you won't go wrong with that :)

Yes, network is totally unreliable. Simple stuff like apt-get update used to fail many times, due to the network issues. Apart from these, latency was also not good. We used singapore instance, as the audience were in India. And lot of other issues which stalled the project. This is 2 years ago, I am not sure if they had any improvements in recent times.

I will say linode is 100 times better than DO or vultr based on our experience.

We also used AWS for some clients who had high traffic websites, but AWS is a real cloud with lot of stuff, and we should not compare it with cloud vps like DO / Vultr / Linode and likewise stuff.

Vultr is relative "jung" on the market, but yes - nowadays it's getting much better.

This solution looks "cheap" when starting an AWS instance, but when you add to your project more options, bandwidth, functions, etc. then at the end a VPS can costs more then a dedicated box.

AWS is never cheap. I know what the bill looks like, and how much past clients paid to aws. But at the end of the day, we have clients decision is the final. We are only management people who setup the software infrastructure as per their website needs. We did suggested dedicated server, but you know what I meant. Client is the decision maker..
