I saw some hosting provider sell reseller plan with specifications:

3GB Space
10GB Bandwidth
Price eg: $2/mo

Just imagine whether you could sell shared hosting package with the specifications above, eg 1GB Space , 2GB BW? sure 2GB bw or 4GB BW

A lot of big providers like OVH include unlimited bandwidth and so most provider who resell their services pass this onto the customers.

You're just adding a limit that doesn't really need to be there, and by it being there a customer is less likely to signup with you. Limit disk space by all means because quality SDD storage is not cheap and there is only so much of it, but I'd allow significant amount of bandwidth or unlimited/unmetered as to make the customer more likely to signup with you.

5GB diskspace and 100GB bandwidth for just $2/month is just giving it away. I suggest increasing the price a little as the customer is not just paying for the resources but for 24x7 technical support too. Also, don't forgot the PayPal fee's which means you don't even get the $2/month after PayPal have had their share.

I suggest you increase the cost and oversell a bit more.

All the best.

3GB is way to little for a reseller account, but 10GB bandwidth should provide for a decent amount of customers, however it's not a great deal regardless of price.

Yes I mean that only a very small bandwidth. I think the minimum bandwidth for reseller hosting is 50GB

5GB is still not enough for a reseller imo. 10GB minimum. Are you looking to buy or selling your own ?

OVH is not unlimited its 500Mbps which is a lot for most people which is why most users say its unlimited.

I think 50GB would be like a good minimum amount of bandwidth depending on what's being done and most host have free incoming flow.

It might as well be unlimited with that high number of bandwidth. Not forgetting you can share bandwidth between all of the servers with vRack etc and so there is plenty of it.

That does not make sense as far a reseller would be concerned. It may be an error on the providers part.

good day

OVH, does not have unlimited bandwidth

But if you have tons of bandwidth you can explode without worrying about limits

There are all types of customers our there so there may be a market for small reseller packages, but realistically anything less than say 15GB of disk space for a small reseller account is too small. Bandwidth is another thing though. I see a lot of hosts offer 10x the disk space = bandwidth per month. So if the package is 25GB disk space, then the monthly bandwidth is 250GB Just one way of slicing it up.

I guess with a space of 5GB, one should offer BW of at least 50GB or more. <50GB is nothing IMO!
