Does anyone here use eBay to market their company and if so how? I saw on a forum someone listed eBay as one of the cheapest ways to advertise/market along with Adsense.

How to use eBay for marketing a company? I have never heard of this way before.
Can you show any ways or details to market a company with eBay?

I agree it is a very strange way to market, but people are doing it. I'm not sure it is legal to do so per ebays policies either.

Basically hosts are setting up Buy it now, sales on ebay. So you are "selling" a hosting package as a buy it now price.

I wouldn't. I mean it's not that hard to test it out when you have some free time, but nobody in their right mind would do a buy it now hosting service. Maybe they rely on the security eBay provides, and they don't have to use their credit card information, they can use PayPal.

There is many providers are selling yearly or lifetime hosting for pennies.

Unlimted disk space and bandwidth for lifetime???

They just sell it wait for two three months then server will be down with no support or contact.

Because one of my customer shared his experience with Ebay.

We do not use ebay to market our web hosting services.

We only use ebay for what it is intended for which is selling some hardware.

Don't bother...We tried it and majority of sales are to spammers and fraudsters. Any hosting sale that comes in from Ebay we found to have like a 75% change to come from a stolen account (Ebay, Paypal, Credit Card, etc...) and most coming from buyers with "0" reviews/points.

I'd say it's as effective as price for you to do it, which is practically none existent, one can try if he wants to. Most of companies who do it are scammers and as mentioned offer unrealistic stuff.

I saw an offer 1€ everything unlimited.
I feel pain for the people that buy this and the the "host" runs, disappear and no one else will ever know where the account gone.
Bt the fact is that are real people buying this.

I had one listed on ebay back in 2015, got one sign-up. Ebay holds the money for a number of days and you have to manually setup the account so it's a delay all the way around. Wasn't work it for me.
