Subscriptions and Recurring Payments in Paypal?

I am developing a site that selling ebooks and online courses and i want to enable subscriptions and recurring payments on my site with Paypal. How can I do that? I want to enable my customers can purchase items automatically recurring subscriptions from my website or even using a link in the email that I will send to them.

You will need to look into PayPal's IPN (Instant Payment Notifications) system so that your site will know when a transaction has processed.

Of course, most popular billing systems like WHMCS already include PayPal's IPN functionality, not sure whether you've considered using such setup or not?

Hi Harry,

I would recommend you use WHMCS for this other billing panels which will easily connect to PayPal.
Just setup your products as recurring and PayPal/WHMCS will take care of the rest, providing your customers will an option to setup automatic payment or simply click pay on the invoice.

As RDO said once you have setup IPN your invoices will be marked as paid automatically.
