Enable Apache mod_rewrite on CentOS?

To use friendly urls which setup rewrite rules in .htaccess files (eg like this: https://forumweb.hosting/13609-how-to-choose-the-best-vps-hosting-for-wordpress-sites.html) you need to enable mod_rewrite if using Apache server. Are there any way(s) to enable Apache mod_rewrite on CentOS?

It is simple to enable mod_rewrite

Open configuration file of Apache web server

Code:

nano /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Change AllowOverride None to AllowOverride All in <Directory "/var/www/html">

After that, restart Apache

Code:

service httpd restart
