I know only a few things regarding security of an eCommerce store and want to know more. This is what i knew
- Update eCommerce solution's SSL/TLS to encrypt browser communications
- Regularly test eCommerce website for loop holes
- Remove risky software that endanger online security

Are there any extra tips to make our eCommerce sites safe?

It will depend on the software you are using. Prestashop, Woocommerce, Magento or OpenCart haven't the same requirement for the security.

The SSL will keep your visitors safe, not your server. And testing a software in production is not always a good idea
