As mentioned unless its a dedicated server. I can help you with checking however an easier way would be to contact your provider. They should get back to you with an answer.I think have installed Centos on SSD but I'm not sure and I want to check this on my VPS. But I am not sure how?
Sad but true!I could not agree with you about this. Some hosting providers can hide what they knew if they are bad points on their servers. For me, I will want to check by myself.
That is not what the OP is asking. He wants to check if the VPS uses SSD vs HDD, not if CentOS is installed...I do not see a reason for hiding if centos is installed or not.
