Any reviews about Google cloud hosting?

I am having a client and he is wanting to try Google cloud hosting, refer to this link

but I have no idea about Google cloud because I have not yet used it before.

Does any one have any experience or used Google cloud? can you share any reviews about this service? what features can we get from their cloud hosting service?

Their prices tend to be slightly hire than other places however reliability and speed is top the roof.
I used the database cloud and it was flaw less.
support is decent however if anyone needs a lot of support, google wont be their best option.

You are right but it is hard to change mind or a decision from a person.

I would help him to do some thing he needs.

Honestly I recommended him use some VPS companies on this forum and he used their hosting services for some years and now he wanted to have a change, a new experience.

I left Google Cloud hosting because they blocked more things on it. After installed cPanel, they blocked default ports as 25 and 465 which could not send outbound emails although I tried to set firewall rules to open ports for email server or even changed ports for email server they didn't work because they didn't allow to open outgoing email ports on their server.

I chose a good VPS company for my friend from suggestions/offers from this forum and everything is running as well. I would close this thread because I don't have any things to do or use Google Cloud hosting any more.

Biggest Doesn't Mean Best!!!

Hopefully your friend will take the best decision! And thanks for the Google Cloud feedback, will take that into consideration if I ever change with them (I use AWS).

I suggest you AWS over Google Cloud in terms of both support and reliability

But there are many good companies which offer reliability cloud services , check out the cloudhosting section here on the forums

Are you using AWS? Any feedback about AWS?

I have not use it before, needing to know some advantages and disadvantages of AWS, pricing, support...etc.

AWS advantages :
- stable
- good performances
- free trial available
- Really scalable and can be connected to all other AWS services

disadvantages :
- price
- dashboard
- require to learn how to use it
