As per my experience i suggest you use SSD because SSD is more reliable and secure. The Speed of SSD is much faster than SATA. Also if you compare cost of both SSD and SATA. You know that SATA is cheaper than SDD but your data is always secure and safe with SSD.

Depending on the situations and budget, we can select SSD or HDD.
SSD is highly recommended due to best IO performance. Read and write speed of SSD drives will be high compared to HDD. There are certain cases where we need huge space for storage/backups. In such situations, it is recommended to have HDD to save the costs. Business hosting clients would prefer to have SSD drive for their website and most of the providers are selecting SSD drives.

No doubt SSD is best option as compare to SATA. SSD provide best security and speed as compare to SATA. SSD are more resistant to physical shock, SSD run almost completely silently, SSD don't get as hot, SSD have lower access time, SSD are less prone to mechanical failure, SSD use less power, SSD have no need for defragmentation. That's why i suggest you go for SSD.

In my opinion, although a bit pricey, SSD outperforms SATA in so many factors. Below are the following reasons as to why:
1. SSD is faster hence boot up times is less compared to SATA. In an average, SSD boots up in less than a minute, than that of the SATA drives which takes about 2-4 minutes on an average.
2. SSDs are quieter than that of SATA as it is non-mechanical.
3. SSDs are much durable compared to SATA as it has no moving parts.

I'd go for SSD it may be pricey, but it's all worth it since you get a speed boost for it. Your Software's would benefit a lot from this specially those hardware intensive applications.

There are differences for both platforms. SSD gives you better performance like faster load times on your applications. But keep in mind that SATA is cheaper and it keeps the job done as well. It's just a matter of preference. If you don't mind spending more and you think you need it, SSD is for you but if you are tight on budget, SATA is fine also.

As compare to SATA, SSD is always best. When you use SSD your data is more secure as compare to SATA. SSD have high speed, more reliable and environmental friendly as compare to SATA.

The standard choice to this day is SSD, do not choose the opposite. It is not just a matter of higher speeds, less time to access the hard drive ... but also solve bottlenecks and a more important factor, as is the physical ...

Yes! To the physical I mean, is that the SSD not having mobile parts have less percentage of error in relation to the SATA .... Just SSD good!

Well, if you have a little more money to spend, the better option would be to go for SSD. They don't utilize mechanical rotating magnets whenever you want to read and write to its memory. Less mechanical work for the device would mean longer life expectancy. Although, they're a bit expensive compared to HDD/SATA per Gigabyte, but investing your money on something long term shouldn't be at all hard to do.

I think SSD is much better than HDD in terms of performance. Many companies offer us SSD because it is fast in transferring data compare to HDD but it more pricey. If you look in durability, I think it depends on brand if it is trusted and reliable. If I were you if you have a budget for SSD why not choose it.

If I have to choose a hard drive between sata and ssd then I will go for sata.
Sata is perfect , it is cheap and it has every thing which is needed. I am using sata since past 10 year and i have never faced a single problem in it.Nobody faces any problem in using sata hard drive.
On the other hand ssd hard drive are also good but they are costly. It is five to six times costlier than sata.
An ssd harddrive is compact, sophisticated and absolute noiseless as it doesn't contain any rotating part like a disk or a needle.
Sata hard drive have a spinning system. A disk rotates for writing and erasing data.
Due to which it take time to erase, format or upload data.
The big difference between sata and ssd lies here, due to difference in working mechanism ssd is faster than sata. Therefore people buy ssd even they are costly.
Ssd harddrive are smaller in size than sata hence it is perfect for laptop. Off course it comes for a desktop also.

If you are on a tight budget then go down the SATA route but i'd always prefer SSD because of the faster write and transfer speeds. SSD is also more reliable and less chance of it failing because they is no moving parts whereas SATA uses a mechanical arm.
