How to block brute force attacks? could any one share tips to blocks IPs spamming vps hosting? which tools should I use? Can I do it by myself without contact my hosting provider?

Using WHM/cpanel or root account via SSH.

To block bruteforce try Fail2ban, It will help you to get the list of bad ip. After if you don't want to have less performance impact, You have to use a reverse proxy like cloudflare and send via the api All ip to block or by using a hardware firewall.
Alternative to cloudflare : using a small vps as front to secure your backend server.
