You need to think more broadly. Google (and the other search engines) like content that provides relevant and up-to-date content to the end user, based on what the user is search for. That's what keeps them coming back for more and why Google is always updating its algorithm -- to improve the user experience. If Google stopped delivering what users wanted, they'd go somewhere else. This means things like Google's ad revenue (how Google makes most its money) would decrease drastically. Google aint about to let that happen.

Google isn't there to prefer one type of post over another. Their whole purpose is to provide relevant search results when someone is searching for something. That's all they care about is improving their results. How that is done is a guessing game for the SEO's and they are usually good at it. At the end of the day it dont matter what content it is as long as its relevant.

The best content that google will latch on is content that is relevant and well put together. If you get lots of links to your site and your content is good/relevant google will rank you high.

According to google webmaster guidelines, content must be unique and information rich. It should be written for online users and their benefits transparently and naturally.

Google loves blogs like wordpress because they have simplified things for google (every site looks about the same on the backend)

They also like unique and detailed content. I have found that 2000-2500 words if the best number.

Just make sure your keywords and tittles are done right and based on research.

Misinformed and incorrect. Google does not give a rip about Wordpress. Google does not love blogs. Google could care less.

If you are counting words to determine if your content will be liked by Google, you're doing it wrong.

The content, which is unique, something new and doesn't exist anywhere, long enough. That's what Google and most search engines love :). They don't really love the content that's already available on somewhere else.

The content which is liked by your user can also liked by Google as well. According to me do not create content for google. Create content for your users, which provides them relevant and useful information.

Nowadays, Visual Content Marketing is a great boon of all-around best tactics you can have for marketing and branding. Does Google Likes it. Visual content is shared more, viewed more, catches a reader's attention, and sticks with them after they have left your site. It is the perfect medium.

Google search engine algorithm is very complex we may not able to predict exactly what type of content they appreciate. One thing is sure that content that are unique and specially written by human are most considered for listing. But No artificial intelligent can recognize good content as human recognize. So it is not wise to get rated by google but look for driving traffic by other organic methods than depending on google ratings

Here is what google loves

=> Lengthy Content focused on Long tail keywords.
=> How to Content (Blog Post and Guide).

In this year, the average length of first page ranking websites are around 1200 words. So it is a clear indication that lengthy content rank well. So if anything lengthy, informative and SEO optimized, it will have better rank. It can be blog post, landing page or anything else.

This has been been proven to be false again and again. Content length is NOT a ranking factor. Stop believing all the nonsense that Neil Patel and places like Moz put out there. Actually spend some time testing stuff yourself and researching sites that are ranking in the SERPs. If you did, you would laugh every single time you see someone try to tell everyone that content length impacts rankings.

Hi, great point. I couldn't agree more on that. Lots of sites are still ranking well with less content. Actually in my journey I found some sites are ranking well with lengthy content. Even few weeks ago google has penalized some amazon affiliate website for having thin content. One of my friend has same case too. But I am sure its vary site to site. Not all lengthy content is great, and not all thin content are bad. For some keywords there are no reason / scope to produce lengthy content.

Unique, good quality and informative contents are most appreciated by Google. Try to write for your readers not for the search engine algorithm, because it is ever changing, but if you won the trust of your readers they will last for a longer period.

You mean Google like long and relevant content?
I'm still seeing any search result that redirecting to short content.

Google likes satisfying information of content that is very useful to the users. They want positive reputation on websites from user experience.
Agree useful content is always a plus with Google.

I am not sure this could happen. :)

Yeh everyone prefer reading long posts (2000-2500 words) but not sure Google will like it or not.

Misinformed and incorrect. Google does not give a rip about Wordpress. Google does not love blogs. Google could care less.
Almost blogs that getting high rankings on Google search result came from wordpress. why you think Google does not love blogs.

Google like content that adds value to the viewer and that answers their queries.

Google said it themselves;

"Our goal is to get visitors to the answer they're looking for faster, creating a nearly seamless connection between the visitor and the knowledge they seek"

Provide people with the information they seek and you will rank highly..
But this is aspect of users.

The content which is liked by your user can also liked by Google as well. According to me do not create content for google. Create content for your users, which provides them relevant and useful information.
But write for users, thats ok but it doesn't have any advantage to help your content better on search engines.

I think Guides are good.

Almost unique content and white hat both off-page and on page seo google likes.

Google likes unique and quality content, which are easily readable by users. According to Google algorithm some of factors like heading, image, video, meta description etc depends of that article.
