Open source, Friendly owner and stable price unlike many billing software. I know WHMCS is best and any doubt but alternative is Hostbill, Blesta, ClientExec and many other software.

However I love Blesta, WHMCS, HostBill and ClientExec.

I have worked with lots of billing systems. But WHMCS is the best one in hosting business and almost all of reputed customer panels supports it.

WHMCS is our preferred software, until we are able to complete our in house solution. A lot of its modules are great but hate the fact that we don't have much control over security. That and the fact we have to pay for a solution that we can build our-self.

Most of the web companies use WHMCS billing script for the there business. As per my experience i use WHMCS billing script since last 2 to 3 years and i have not any problem but still it is your discussion which billing script is best for your business.

From our experience, WHMCS is the best and easy solution to manage a web hosting company.
Second choice would be Hostbill

I have used HostBill APP for 5 years now and I'm really happy with them. Very secure, constant development. Okay it is expansive but you also get a perfect software.

I use ISPConfig. It's a control panel for web, email and DNS by default, but has a billing module you can add for a one time fee. Very happy with it.
