I only want to ask it cloud hosting has security issues and it can open a hole for hackers attack my blogs when they are putting on a cloud hosting? Almost I heard that cloud hosting is more secure, just asking this out of curious.

A server is a server regardless of it's a dedicated physical machine or a virtual machine. "Cloud" is no more secure or unsecured than any other server.

If you're asking "is the cloud insecure by default", the answer is NO. Cloud is as secure as you make it. It is as secured or unsecured as your shared hosting, your VPS or your dedicated server.

Like the discussion in the other posts, cloud in itself does not mean anything different. It is the same underlying infrastructure that powers every other hosting type. The difference is just that there are multiple computers working behind the scene instead of one. Also, cloud does not mean that your data is accessible by default to everyone. No. Your data is accessible only by those your have granted permission to.

If it is attached to the internet, it is not "secure".

Shared hosting & Cloud hosting are the most insecure

VPS and Dedicated servers can be more secure, IF you secure them properly.

Using a dedicated hardware firewall in front of your server makes it even more secure, but nothing is immune from the risk of being hacked.

What reasons why Shared hosting & Cloud hosting is less secure than VPS and Dedicated servers? As cloud hosting, it can install whatever is having on a VPS or dedicated server. They are the same thing.

RDO Servers
Shared/cloud and VPS/dedicated are not the same thing.

Shared/cloud are completely shared environments. Lots of customers using the same server, running the same kernal, with the same OS/security configurations. You are limited to what you can install or configure on shared/cloud hosting.

VPS/dedicated you have root access. You can install anything you want, and set your security setting how you want.

For the sake of advising, yes, a VPS is to some extent shared as well. However with running your own OS on a virtualized server, you can still achieve better security then traditional shared/cloud hosting.

I agree with RDO Servers everything what is connected to internet is displayed to public and not secure.
That is way you have firewall on you computer on servers etc.

Question is how secure can be any kind of hosting or server. That depend on hosting company / provider how much they give to security and how often they check their server security.

Now you don't have to worry about cloud security risks.
