Moving from a Shared to a VPS hosting?

Hi everyone,

Is it relatively easy to move files over from a Shared hosting to a VPS hosting?
What if you are not using the same hosting company - would this cause additional issues?

From cpanel to cpanel? its easy dude! No matter what hosting company you are using right now!

Which is from cpanel to cpanel? I don't get your point.

which cpanel features for using to move files from a cpanel to a cpanel or vps to a vps?

I mean if your current hosting is powered by cPanel/WHM and you also have cpanel/whm on other hostin where you want to transfer your site. then it will be easy. same thing goes for the plesk.
simply goto backup section in your cpanel, create a full backup, download, and then upload this backup via restore option :)
