Why Plesk is considered best for Windows, it is good for Linux too?
It is best for windows, because I do not see any control panel that comes as close as plesk, when it comes to web servers and web hosting ease of use. It will also run on Linux, but for linux servers, CPanel is the best (best in the sense large community of users and support).
I want to know what are negative factors in Plesk if possible? I read good comments about this panel but I don't see any disadvantages from it.
I do not find anything negative, it is as good as CPanel. Even better in some features like Git Integration,WordPress Toolkit and much more.. Plesk have addons or extensions, some of them are free and some are paid. You can install and use them like WP plugins, its as easy as that. Also Plesk have editions for different needs. If you are not hosting company then there is an edition for normal or personal users.
Also plesk is affordable. You can provide Nodejs, Phython and lot more servers in the same instance which is cool. Of course, I did not tried adding all stuff on my VPS. But plesk have such features..
