So far I have found GoDaddy for $62.99/year. Anyone know any others cheaper?

Any suggestions on how to have a cheap SSL Certificate?

Comodo generally have the cheapest SSL certificates.

I would recommend googling "cheap ssl certificates" and see what you find. That being said, EV certificates will be more expensive.

I have got positive reviews from one of my friends who has used an SSL Certificate from CheapSSLWEB, while I purchased from Certera a year ago so you can check on your own and get what fits in your budget. Hope this works :)

May be worth looking into Lets Encrypt - It's free.

If you're looking for cheapest SSL certificates, you can get a ssl certificate at SSL2BUY. They have different brand like DigiCert, Comodo, Sectigo, GeoTrust at cheapest price.

Save some bucks on SSLs and use letsencrypt SSL which is free and do the same job as paid SSLs.

letsencrypt
True, any modern hosting provider includes Let's Encrypt in its hosting packages for free (or even AutoSSL if it uses cPanel). There is no point in buying a paid SSL certificate if you have an average website. But if you run the website of a big international company or a bank, you should use the paid certificate since they give you paid insurance in case the certificate is hacked (the free SSL providers don't give such guarantees). The more expensive the certificate you buy, the higher the insurance amount you get.

I appreciate that this topic was started back in 2016 when there were no free SSL certificate providers, but to summarize everything here, I'd say that today, there's no point in buying an SSL certificate, especially a cheap one.
