What is the difference between selling at Ebay and Amazon?

I had tried Ebay and Amazon before and sold some small stuffs but what is the difference between selling at Ebay and Amazon?? People are buying second hand in Ebay but new stuff in Amazon? Amazon is mainly USA but Ebay is more worldwide? What are your thoughts?

I have found Amazon better for items that you hold a large amount of stock. Ebay is better for one off sales of items. Personally I prefer Ebay as a selling platform.

Amazon has FBA. they have a fullfilment centre where you pay a monthly fee as a professional seller. Once your item is sold, they take care of everything such as packing and posting. On amazon, you can sell at a higher price and people will buy whereas on ebay, people tend to still look for cheaper items. you can buy from ebay and sell on amazon.

eBay is quite a good place to sell your products quickly without any hassle. Amazon will focus on legal part of seller very seriously and verified your identity in order to start selling.
