How to choose keywords for your articles?

I'm just curious how did you choose keywords for your blog articles? I usually use google keyword planner to find keywords with higher demand user but low competitions or go to answers and questions sites for any suggestions

what is your way? Any help would be appreciated.

Keyword planners is only useful for amount of searches. The competition is for advertising.

Manually searching keywords in Google and checking front page comp is the only way to accurately find keywords.

Adwords is a good source for keywords, also check high traffic websites in your niche using SemRush (you can apply for a 30 day trial). Amazon & Flippa are also good sources to find keywords.

I also recommend Google search (without hitting enter) and typing different keywords, noting down different suggestions Google will offer you then use a keyword research tool to analyze the keywords.

You can also check popular blog posts in different high traffic blogs to find good keywords and also check forums to see which questions are frequently asked.

Try to research for the most relevant keyword that your potential target market use. Remember once you search for the right term do ensure that it is relevant to your website content. Aside from google adword you can also try google trend, microsoft bing ads, wordtrackers, etc.

One must choose longtail keyword for articles. Keywords must meet three given below factors:

1. High Searches
2. Low Competition
3. Good CPC

You are going right way, keep it up. No other tool will give you accurate result as google keyword planner.

First of all check what is your niche for your topic. Always target keyword that related to your website information and diffent type keyword do not impact on your ranking.

There are various ways to find good keyterms to use for blog posts, obviously Google keyword tool is one, but I also use the suggestions that come up at the bottom of the search, which are related searches. These often don't show up in the keyword tool but are usually good long tail options.

Brain is best keyword suggestion checker. I use my brain to find some keyword and then use SEO tools to check competition keyword.

Google is also good place, search in google like webmaster forum and at the end of page you will see 5 to 10 keywords related to webmaster forum.
