The Age of a Domain Name in SEO?

Do you suppose that the age of domain name is important for SEO?
I heard that past age and future age also need to be considered if you want to get higher rankings in SERPs, right?
I.e I should renew my domain from 2 years instead of 1 year, it will be more benefit for SEO

what do you guys here think?

Yes DA is very important and you should purchase your domain for 5 years or the max the provider allows.

Domain age really matters in SEO, in some aspects ranking depends upon your website domain age. I have asked with different SEO experts who do agree with this as well, according to them if the domain age is 1 or 2 year old, and then it is really good. This is the minimum age, if your domain age is older than this, and then is really good as per the SEO point of view.

Yes, the age of a domain name really matters a lot in SEO. Google simply does not rank fast a domain name which is a new one. It takes more time and effort than doing SEO for a aged domain.

I suggest you renew for 5 years,if you think this website is worthy.it's not for SEO.

Domain age only matters if the website has a history of content being added and with that social shares, backlinks etc.... In most cases there is a direct correlation with age vs. authority gained but thats only because over time more backlinks gained/content is added - i.e. look at the index count for websites that are 10 years old which are adding new content regularly and consistently that are ranking on the serps. So for example if you purchased a domain and did nothing with it for a few years, then for sure that domain has the same value on day one as it will years later in the eyes of search engines - which in otherwords is useless... That is domain age on its own is useless... as with the domain renewal/expiration date. Hence it is a metric which needs to be combined with other factors before making assertions as to the value of a website on the serps...

A domain name is one of the factors in SEO. Both in Ranking and if one want to sell it. Google also treat a domain well if the age is too old or if the domain is booked for max. time. Else its like one is not serious in a business.

A website that is established for 2 years is definitely going to help you in ranking compared to a website that's only up for a year. However, you can notice the difference at higher period of times; 3 years or more. The age of a domain name isn't a big factor unless the actual age is big.

Domain age is a ranking factor, too.
You can also build a lot more links to an aged domain in a period of time than to a brand new site.
